Life brings tears, smiles, and memories. the tears dry, the smiles fade, but the memories last forever.

We Know Each Other's Hearts
Alison Taylor Sibley
Family flourishes in a thousand incarnations of closeness and distance, warmth, loyalty, and even distrust - because we know each other as we always were.
We know each other’s hearts.
We remember family feuds and secrets.
We share family griefs and joys.
We pick each other up when we fall.
We help each other up when no one else will.
The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life. To the outside world we all grow older, but to our family - we live outside the touch of time.
THE COUNTRY STORE
Patricia Dampier
I have many memories of things about you and John growing up that your mother shared with me through the years of both of you growing up. But one I was actually a part of wad when your Grandfather Taylor brought y’all to the Cox Halloween carnival.
Your mother was working as was I. You and John were so cute dressed up for Halloween!!!! I was at the Country Store which was mostly junk. Everything y’all picked up I gave to you . Then your Grandaddy turned around and said”Lady I know what you’re doing”. !!! It was funny at the time. I was trying to get rid of as much as possible!!!
Also. The picture of John that was on your Mothers desk. Cowboy boots and hat probably age 4 or 5. John was always so cute as a boy and grew up to be a handsome young man. Love you all.
FLOATING THE RIVER
Jeffrey Edmonds
John Taylor and I shared many good times together, one that sticks out in my mind mostly (rather than the way he would bust out randomly in Elvis songs) is the time he came to me with the idea of parking my truck at Reed Bengham and driving his truck like 5 miles up river and float back to my truck in his little boat.
Turns out with the way the river turns and twist it was about a 10 mile long stretch and we weren't going too fast paddling. So about 7 hours into this country adventure John figured we were lost, going in circles. The state park was closed at this time so he calls 911 and says we are lost. Within 20 minutes we knew we weren't so lost, as the dam was lit up with state patrol lights. We laughed hysterically and made it out safely. This didn't stop our great adventures. But was the last time I got in a boat with John Taylor .
With love, Jeffrey
